The club was set up by Kevin Crispin with the intention of giving boys and girls in the Eye area more opportunities to play football and to benefit from being part of a club.
It was fully established for the 2005-2006 season and initially teams played in the Waveney Mid-Suffolk League. After the Waveney Mid-Suffolk League folded the club joined the South Suffolk Youth League in time for the 2008-2009 season.
